Outokumpu opens in Turkey

Outokumpu has opened a wholly owned, dedicated stainless steel sales office in Istanbul, Turkey. The new organisation begins operating from February 2007 and is the latest addition to Outokumpu??s worldwide sales network. The new Turkish sales office will be headed by Mr Ugur Arpaci, who brings 15 years of stainless steel experience to the role plus an excellent knowledge of the full range of Outokumpu products and services. In addition, there will be other well-trained staff available to provide fast responses and advice on stainless steel solutions. The new sales company will continue to maintain excellent relationships with current customers, coordinate sales from all Outokumpu business units and also provide technical expertise to support market development and help in material selection for major projects. Outokumpu has always provided this service, but now it will be supported locally with responses given more quickly and in the client??s own language.
