Desheng Iron & Steel has expanded its operations and its product range into stainless steel alloy. In order to set up the production for a nickel and chrome pig iron alloy, Desheng not only is planning to enhance its blast furnace technology, but has also started its stainless strip plan with an annual capacity of 70,000tns in early February 2007.
